According to the Magellan website, it says the Premium Car Kit &quot;Works with any GPS navigation or location based app.&quot;  So yes, it would be compatible, and it should be compatible with cars as well.  You can customize any sort of activity, and so you could add in a &quot;driving&quot; activity and use it to track your distance/speed/time/location.
